Ty Mawr
Planning and Listed Building Consent granted to remove an unsightly rear extension to Cardiff's oldest dated house (1585), and replace this with a sympathetic contemporary extension. The designs include some rearrangement of the main rooms and the removal of other appendages to the historic fabric. Work is due to begin in 2024.
Castleton
Planning permission for an entirely new house on a contentious site on the edge of the countryside. The project involved detailed construction design drawings and structural coordination, and building regulations applications in order for the client to self-build the project. Continual site visits and support were provided during the construction process. The building was constructed with a pre-fabricated insulated timber frame, and faced in natural stone set in lime-mortar.
